Mina Alpha Rolls Celeste

That is an exaggeration. This is Mina and Celeste playing. First they roll in grass because, why not? Then there is much alpha rolling. Celeste is a superb self-alpha-roller. Toward the end, when Mina roams off to chomp on grass, I have to kick Celeste. Just kidding. I nudged her, in a valiant, but embarrassingly unsuccessful attempt at deterring her from eating mud. In response, she looks like a crazy dog.

Don't let Celeste fool you. She'll be back to the spot of the glorious, fabulous, tastee mud. She'll wallow and wiggle and wallow and scarf and possible snort.

Then, well then she'll not understand why she must be tormented in the bathtub. She'll look at you with passable imitation of Mina's woe-is-me face in an attempt to prevent said bath.

But we are cruel, cruel people. We bath them regardless. Thus starting the wallow and wiggle cycle all over again. sigh

P.S. They both looked adorable in their grass revelry.

Mexi-mutt is FUNNY! And dang, Mina is looking gooood for 11. I sure hope the Pai gal is looking that good and acting so playful years down the road. =)

This video brings to mind something that flashes through my consciousness often enough...I want to live like a dog. ;)

If only Michael Vick had learned how much fun it is to watch dogs play...

Could you imagine people betting on dogs playing?

You could have bets on how many times the dogs do play bows or how often one of them rolls.

I bet that golden retrievers would be the dog players' breed of choice...

That sounds almost too dorky.

But it just might work.

Celeste is a hoot! She's got those 360 spins down to a science. She's a riot!!

my favorite part is Mina bodyblocking Celeste each time she tries to go zoomies!

I have determined, with my scientific acumen, that there is a causal correlation between nice fresh green grass and self -alpha- rolling. And what I say goes.
